In December 2009, our son Evan was diagnosed with autism. After receiving the diagnosis we never cried or felt sorry for Evan, instead we were determined to get as much information and treatment for him as possible. Through our faith, we knew Evan would be just fine. In 2010, we enrolled him in traditional school in a development preschool program. After a year we really didn't see any significant progress in his development. My husband and I started looking into the ABA centers in the Indianapolis area and to our surprise they were not a good fit for us financially.
